Judy's Quilting Doodle

Since doodling is what I have been doing with quilting, I had to make a quilt that showed some of my favorites. I incorporated the zippers to add interest. One of them opens to reveal the piecing inside. The white stitching is from the bolt of fabric where they pieced it together at the manufacturers which I thought was fun to add to the mix.
This is the piecing inside the zipper.

  1. Your quilting as usual is fantastic! Could you unzip the zipper all the way to show US what is behind it??? I love each section and love the different quilting stitches. I think my favorite is the sort of pinkish one with the flowers!

  4. Aren't you the clever one! This is so perfect for the doodle theme - and as usual, your stitches are just perfecto! I love the addition of the zippers and like Alice, I want to see what's behind the open zipper!

  6. Judy the composition and the zippers are so clever. Quilting and doodling have become one in my world too. Whenever I am sitting in a class or meeting I seem to doodle but it is always in continuous line designs. I too want to see behind the closed zipper
