Humor and Travel by Teresa Schlabach

At first I was not sure about this theme, but the more I thought about it, the more I became excited about it - so I did two quote themed projects.  I wanted to reflect that I have humor in my attitude about my job as well as one of my hobbies is to travel!  Thus, the two quilts you see!  There were so many quotes in my collection, it was hard to choose, but these two kept coming to me again and again.  - Teresa Schlabach

  1. Both quotations and the quilts that support them made me chuckle! I can well understand why you have trouble deciding on just one!

  4. Teresa ... Your first quilt made me laugh out loud ! Kind of reminded me of an oft used Texas quote, "Well, Bless Your Heart !" that said sweetly could be taken in just about as many ways as the quote you used ! When we moved to Texas 7 years ago, it didn't take me long to figure out that some of those drippy-sweet "Bless Your Hearts" were just about as tart as could be ! I think "Just Go" could also be interpreted in a few different ways... I may have said it once or twice myself !
Your quilting is beautiful .... Loved both pieces !

I love both of them and the second meaning of "Just Go" works well with the first one.
