Did you go to the quilt store there and see their gallery in the other building? I loved it when I went to the bead store and she said they were the Bermuda triangle of Sedona. Quilt store, Bead store, and Knitting store. I went to all of them!Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03368515552194912257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728166793718979713.post-6844664720485514292013-05-19T20:58:39.380-04:002013-05-19T20:58:39.380-04:00Sara...I felt your angst when I read that you are ...Sara...I felt your angst when I read that you are "canyon challenged", but I think you interpreted the definition perfectly. As soon as I saw this quilt, I thought of all the geophysical "seismic charts" our explorationists used in their search for oil and gas (hydrocarbons). The "seis charts" were always considered "Top Secret" intellectual property; none were ever left out in our offices where competitors might catch a glimpse of something they weren't supposed to see ! Great job - and thanks for giving my challenge word a totally different interpretation ! The deepening of the gorge or vee, is well portrayed with the stitching and the contrast of colors is striking. Couching, too, and by clicking to enlarge, I saw that it was machine done. Good work, Sara, and I'm excited about our next theme!Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01193658783135430973noreply@blogger.com
