Usually it is a scorching hot steam bath. This summer it has been a horrible oven. I had not seen 108 before but did last month. We were excited when we had a temp of 94 as a break in the heat spell!

I have my harmony quilted but on my machine. I was really excited about the design as dealing with harmony on several levels. My soon to be 29 year old son looked at it and said "mom. why do you think this is harmony and not chaos!" See, I told y'all chaos is my natural state. I can hardly wait till Sept 15 - better get it off the machine and a letter done!Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04236884861296764244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728166793718979713.post-40509768661505339412011-09-01T20:10:32.343-04:002011-09-01T20:10:32.343-04:00Hi Kathy,

I'm fortunate to have been able to renovate a space in my house a few years ago for my studio, something I had dreamed of doing for years. NOW I would love to
down-size my house, but create a bigger studio! Enjoy!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17154076191981373564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728166793718979713.post-50822892846674595182011-09-01T18:53:28.181-04:002011-09-01T18:53:28.181-04:00Greetins, Kathy! Currently I am enjoying the lovely weather of Southern California. My co-granny and I are having great fun with the two children, ages 10 and 8. Grandma Marie has just taught us a fun paper craft that I recall making when I was a child. I'll probably post about that on my personal blog. But anyway, glad your work is coming along so well and I can't wait to see pictures and, eventually, the studio in person! Turquoise is my favorite color, too!Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01193658783135430973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728166793718979713.post-80112434428130798502011-09-01T17:31:48.992-04:002011-09-01T17:31:48.992-04:00Hi Kathy, thanks for the info about yourself and t...Hi Kathy, thanks for the info about yourself and the exciting news about your NEW studio. Sorry that the Texas weather has been so HOT since you've been here. Trust that it is not always like this, and that we DO actually have beautiful days. I'm looking forward to seeing your work and the brand new studio. Take a breath!Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06402863183600409719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728166793718979713.post-75599173943281470402011-09-01T16:48:10.328-04:002011-09-01T16:48:10.328-04:00Thanx, Kathy, for underlining those dates for me. ...Thanx, Kathy, for underlining those dates for me. I went looking for my harmony top and bottom today and could not find anywhere and then when I did and went to work on it, I made a terrible un or inharmonious unfixable mistake...but that is ok...because when one finds some sort of harmony, something always happens to disrupt it! hahahaLinda Hickshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10622069411237073813noreply@blogger.com
