And I loved reading his take on the whys of his groups. Loved his Calvin and Hobbes reference. Yes, we ALL need to play more, and in a way, that's one reason I love this group so much. We get to play with fascinating themes that stretch our imaginations and creativity!Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01193658783135430973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4728166793718979713.post-62275575601769099762013-09-19T18:38:13.407-04:002013-09-19T18:38:13.407-04:00Randy, As always you do a perfect job of putting t...Randy, As always you do a perfect job of putting this together! Yes, Alice, similar themes make up the rows. Carol's face just had to go full center, which put Linda and Carolyn's faces left and right, photographically "looking into the middle face." You read my mind with the analysis of row one, four, and five. To row two and that missing word. Let me add "green knees" for Andrea's square. Remember the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon? Hobbes, the imaginary tiger, would roll in the grass until Calvin would have really green knees from play - a reminder we all should play everyday - a reminder of Andrea's fun square and the juxtaposition of two really different green squares. They just seem to fit on one row. I am humbled by being allowed to be a rather insignificant ad hoc part of such a creative group. Randy has once again grouped our quilts into a fabulous composition...I think he has outdone himself this time !<br />I agree with Alice, and could see even before I read what she wrote that the quilts were very cleverly organized by theme ( within a theme! ). Mine is kind of the only "orphan" with the white background!
