Quote by Candace Berry

I have always loved this quote and I love the character in Mother Teresa's wonderful face.  The face was printed from my computer onto a used tea bag. I put it on some hand-dyed fabric using gel medium. I then machine quilted, added some stamping, handstitching, and finished with some silk sari ribbon for the binding.

  1. A lovely quilt in which you've used so many products and techniques! The quotation is wonderful! I've long admired Mother Teresa, but I've never read those specific words of hers. How true they are!

  7. I hesitate to ever say that 'this is my favorite quilt' because each one has something special that speaks to me - - - however, that said, I am pretty sure this is my favorite quilt. (sigh - there, I said it.). I am so touched by folk art, and your quilt comes close to that. I love the small row of colored patches, the machine sewn script, the way you added the face and of course the quote itself speaks volumes.
