Reach for the Sun

This is on rusted fabric, monoprinted and thread-sketched. A few beads were added to the vine on the right. I used Inktense blocks to paint in some of the colours. Sari silk ribbons are used for binding.

  5. Candy, I love your work. All plants reach for the sun. It is the only way they can thrive.

  7. I love that you used so many different techniques and art products/supplies in this piece ! I use a lot of my hand-dyed rusted fabrics in my pieces, but never really thought about coloring over them .. great idea ! Thanks for sharing your work with us :-D

  8. I could learn so much from you. Two of you have mentioned "ink tense blocks". I must look for a you tube tutorial. I absolutely love the layers and layers that you create, which in turn create your work. I really like the 'dancing' movement of your flowers and the beading works! great interpretation ..
