The Green Quilts Composite

Randy has done it again--composed a beautiful composite of our Green quilts!  Notice how much time and effort Randy expends in arranging our quilts to their best advantage.

Not only that, but I think he groups according to similar themes within our current theme.  (I might be wrong--Randy, correct me if I am!)

Take the third row, for an example.  Randy grouped the three quilts that featured faces.  In the fourth row, three with "critters," to use my word loosely.  The top row--three that might be said are "botanical."  The bottom row--three with an abstract feel.  And then the second row....hmm, a mix of humor and _______; I can't find a word, or perhaps these three just looked good together!

Of course, Randy might have had other themes in mind for his groups of three, this is simply how I read them!

So thanks again to Randy for doing a superlative job.

  2. Wow! Randy has once again grouped our quilts into a fabulous composition...I think he has outdone himself this time !
I agree with Alice, and could see even before I read what she wrote that the quilts were very cleverly organized by theme ( within a theme! ). Mine is kind of the only "orphan" with the white background! Thank you so much Randy.

  4. Randy here sneaking in on Rita's reply privilages and making a comment or three. Yes, Alice, similar themes make up the rows. Carol's face just had to go full center, which put Linda and Carolyn's faces left and right, photographically "looking into the middle face." You read my mind with the analysis of row one, four, and five. To row two and that missing word. Let me add "green knees" for Andrea's square. Remember the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon? Hobbes, the imaginary tiger, would roll in the grass until Calvin would have really green knees from play - a reminder we all should play everyday - a reminder of Andrea's fun square and the juxtaposition of two really different green squares. They just seem to fit on one row. I am humbled by being allowed to be a rather insignificant ad hoc part of such a creative group.

  9. I'll just add my remarks to the rest and say thank you, thank you, to Randy! And I loved reading his take on the whys of his groups. Loved his Calvin and Hobbes reference. Yes, we ALL need to play more, and in a way, that's one reason I love this group so much. We get to play with fascinating themes that stretch our imaginations and creativity!
