I had my "majestic" all planned and then the
inauguration happened and I had to switch my idea.
Digitally printed flowers create the fireworks.
They were cut and stitched with smoke monofilament thread.
May be pretty simple but when I look at it, it reminds me of the
fabulous fireworks show and makes me happy!

Karen, the Inauguration Fireworks were breath-taking and certainly majestic! What joy they symbolized for many of us. For sure your quilt and what they portray make me happy!

ReplyDeleteYOWSA ! What a Great Quilt ! ! ! I would never have thought of Fireworks, but you absolutely made them "Majestic" ! I love the way you used the digitally printed Flowers, and using Monofilament was a great way to attach the Fireworks to your quilt ! Great Job :-D
