Tricia's Luminosity

I created this piece from a photograph I saw of Sankaty Light House at sunset on Nantucket. I thought the moon behind the light house is a great example of luminosity.

I used raw edge applique, fusibles and free motion quilting.

  1. I love this Tricia, not only is it luminous, but so "Nantucket" and reminds me of the special MM retreat we had in 2015!

  2. I love it as well! I had myself thought about a light house! Wonderful example of something luminous. But then I thought: Tricia might choose that!

  3. Dramatic example of the theme. The moon and a lighthouse-- two very luminous subjects so apt for a lovely piece!! Love the sky! It too seems to glow!
